provider headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has taken a significant
equity position in the company.

This move broadens synergies between the two companies and allows CRA to accelerate its regional commercial activities through Sutera customer relationships forged over decades. In addition, Sutera
has ambitious plans to leverage its local contacts and network to establish a titanium carbon fiber reinforced tubing (TCT) manufacturing plant in Malaysia.

The company intends to further extend its equity position in CRA soon. TCT is a game-changing technology with the potential to revolutionize Carbon Capture and Storage projects and general well design for corrosive reservoirs.

CRA-Tubulars’ patented TCT is made of titanium and carbon fiber, making it lighter and stronger than traditional stainless-steel tubing used in oil and gas wells. It is also more resistant to corrosion from H2S gas and other contaminants found in reservoirs, which can cause severe damage and costly downtime. As a result, using TCT can help operators save time and money while reducing their environmental footprint.
